MILDRED STREET WALKING TOUR SET FOR MARCH 20 |

MONTGOMERY, Ala.--Join historians Dr. Richard Bailey, Robert Gamble, James Fuller and Mary Ann Neeley on a walking tour of historic Mildred Street and its neighborhood. Meet for doughnuts and coffee at 9 a.m. at the Montgomery County Historical Society at Figh-Pickett House, located on the corner of South Court and Mildred streets. The tour will begin promptly at 9:30 a.m. and will last until noon. Please be prompt. Bring water and wear comfortable shoes. Plans include walking, talking and visiting several sites, including Sayre Street School, Old Ship AME Zion and other historic sites.
