Cancer Wellness Foundation of Central Alabama announces “An Evening with Tim Tebow” in March

MONTGOMERY, Alabama -- Heisman Trophy winner and Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow will be the featured speaker at an event benefiting the Cancer Wellness Foundation of Central Alabama in March, the foundation announced this afternoon.

Tebow, who played college football for the University of Florida and won the Heisman Trophy in 2007, will speak at the March 16 event, An Evening with Tim Tebow. Baptist Health System is sponsoring the event.

The event will be held March 16 at the Renaissance Montgomery Convention Center, 201 Tallapoosa St.

A VIP reception will be held at 6 p.m., followed by dinner at 7 p.m.

WSFA Sports Anchor Jeff Shearer will lead the chat with Tebow during a question-and-answer session. In addition, there will be both silent and live auctions throughout the evening.

Tickets for An Evening with Tim Tebow, benefiting the Cancer Wellness Foundation of Central Alabama, will go on sale this Friday at 10 a.m. General admission tickets are $100 for the dinner, auction and program. A limited number of tickets for the VIP reception, dinner and auction will be available for $400.
