PRESS RELEASE

Beasley Allen Brings More Than 1,200 Attorneys to Montgomery

November 19, 2009

Montgomery, Ala.—Renowned Montgomery law firm Beasley, Allen, Crow, Methvin, Portis, and Miles, P.C. will host more than 1,200 Alabama attorneys November 20-21, 2009 at the Beasley Allen Legal Strategies Conference and Expo.  The conference will be held at the Renaissance Montgomery Hotel and Spa at the Convention Center.

The Beasley Allen Legal Strategies Conference and Expo is the premiere annual event for Alabama attorneys in private practice. This two-day gathering is the largest of its kind in the state and will occupy nearly 1000 room nights in the Montgomery area.

“We are so excited that Beasley Allen has decided to bring their conference back to Montgomery,” Vice President Dawn Hathcock said.  “The Montgomery CVB has implemented a new initiative to encourage local businesses to bring their conferences to our area in an effort to stimulate our economy and to increase the economic impact of the region.”

As well as a great economic opportunity for Montgomery, this conference is a notable networking occasion for Alabama attorneys.

“We are extremely pleased to be able to offer this program as a service for lawyers throughout the state of Alabama,” said Tom Methvin, Managing Shareholder of Beasley Allen Law Firm and current President of the Alabama State Bar, who will also be a presenter during the event. “This is a valuable opportunity for continuing education, as well as providing the chance for networking with other attorneys.”

Headquartered in Montgomery, Alabama, Beasley Allen is comprised of more than 42 attorneys and 200 support staff. Beasley Allen is a national leader in civil litigation, having settled verdicts and settlements of over $20 billion.

For more information on the conference please contact Dawn Hathcock at 334-261-1100.
